My first venture in sneaker design with no particular links to an existing brand, industrial archaeology, and no collaboration with fabrics manufacturers or textile designers. This series results from natural empathy with Abhishek Chatterjee and Manuel Costa Teixeira, combining fabrics for curtains (from Vidal tecidos) found at Armazém dos Linhos (Porto) with pre-existing soles from Sotebor and a standard ankle boot pattern design provided by Márcia Teixeira. Benefiting from years of previous research, trial and error, 10 minutes were enough for the decision-making process allowing this prototype to go into production.
